INTEGRATED CONTENT ADAPTATION FEATURES
Using dynamic content adaptation (DCA), content can be tailored ‘just-in-time’ as it’s streamed to ensure compatibility with the array of consumer devices in the marketplace. DCA features just-in-time packaging, just-in-time transcoding, digital rights management, and session-based policy controls that enable the content provider to reach more devices, reduce time-to-market, and drive down storage costs.
Concurrent’s Flexible Cache Server is a software-based high density streaming server with integrated intelligent caching features. With support for a wide variety of content formats and streaming protocols, it supports delivery to mobile devices, smart TVs, as well as classic set-top boxes simultaneously.
Concurrent Cache Servers can be deployed at the edge for maximized quality of experience and minimized latency, in intermediate locations to save network cost, and at the origin to expand i/o requirements at origin without adding origin capacity.

OPEN TO CONTENT
The Flexible Cache Server fulfills stream requests by accessing content when needed from origin servers or other caching servers over any IP network. Origin servers and associated storage may be hosted internal to an operator’s network or externally on any connected network, and the content can be sourced from any local in-network source or from the increasing range of OTT services.
Content segments are cached as they are streamed to consumers and are prioritized and ranked by an intelligent caching algorithm. Concurrent’s proprietary algorithms result in unlatching caching efficiencies which translate into measurable quality improvements and network cost savings.
